Alexandrite is known for its protective and healing properties Discovered in Russia in the 1830s, this gemstone was named after the Russian Tsar, Alexander II, and has since been a symbol of royalty and sophistication.
Alexandrite's striking color-changing properties are a result of its unique mineral composition, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after gemstones in the world.
