The unique feature of this ring is that gorgeous center alexandrite is remarkably clean which makes it very rare because alexandrite belong to the category 2 in GIA grading system. Type 2 means that natural alexandrite unlike lab grown alexandrite almost always has many inclusions. This alexandrite has only a couple of tiny inclusions deep inside the stone hardly seen by an unaided eye. They certainly do not affect the transparency and magnificient luster of the stone. Gemologists consider such mineral inclusions to be the proof of the natural origin of alexandrite.

The stone is easily changing color from light green to gorgeous lavender purple, which makes it a rare collector's gem.
